Getting started
Registering a domain name
The first requirement for a website is a web address, or in geek terms,
a domain name. An example is mywebsite.com.au
To register a domain name for Australia (i.e a domain name ending in .au) you'll need an ABN. (Australian Business Number)
If you require a dot com (.com) no ABN is required. To register a dot com all you need is a credit card and $20 per year for registration charges.
